Easy Apple Cobbler Recipe
- 3 tbsp. butter for sauteing apples
- 2 pound cooking apples, peeled & sliced
- 1/2 c. raisins, optional
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. pecans, optional
- 3/4 tbsp. pie spices
- 1/4 pound melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Saute/fry apples and raisins for a few min in 3 Tbsp.
- butter till tender.
- Add in 1/4 c. sugar and spices.
- Set aside.
- Pour 1/4 lb.
- melted butter in 7 x 11 x 2 inch baking dish.
- Mix remaining ingredients; stir in lowfat milk.
- Pour batter on top of butter.
- Pour apples over batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 50 min or possibly till crust is golden.
- Serve with a whipped cream or possibly ice cream if you like.
- Serves 6-8.
