THE Cheese Ball
- 1/2 cups Sour Cream
- 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1/2 envelopes (about 1 Oz. Envelope) Dry Ranch Dressing Mix
- 2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Divided
- 1 cup Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
- 2 stalks Green Onions, Finely Chopped
- 6 slices Bacon, Cooked Crisp
- In mixing bowl, cream together the sour cream, cream cheese and dry ranch mix.
- Add half of the sharp cheese, the pepper jack cheese, green onions and crushed crisp bacon.
- Fold until blended.
- Place mixture on a piece of plastic wrap and shape into a ball as best you can.
- Chill for at least 1 hour.
- Take the ball out of the plastic and smooth it with your hands.
- Roll the cheese ball in the remaining sharp cheddar cheese.
- You might need to press the shredded cheese into the ball if it is too cold and firm.
- Serve with crackers.
- Store tightly wrapped in the fridge.
