Clams Casino Dip
- 2 (8 oz.) cans minced clams with juice
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 medium onion
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 7 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 1/4 lb. margarine
- 1/2 c. seasoned Italian bread crumbs
- grated Parmesan cheese
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- paprika
- Simmer for 15 minutes, clams with juice and lemon juice. Simmer in 1/4 pound margarine, onion, garlic, pepper, parsley, oregano and Tabasco sauce.
- Mix all ingredients together, including the bacon.
- To this mixture, add seasoned bread crumbs. Pour into ungreased 1-quart casserole.
- Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Sprinkle Cheddar cheese and paprika on top.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly.
