Briar Patch Mojito
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 4 to 5 fresh mint leaves, torn
- 2 slices lime, plus more for garnish
- 2 small sprigs fresh thyme
- 4 blackberries, plus more for garnish
- Ice
- 1 1/2 ounces citrus-infused rum, such as Bacardi Limon
- Club soda
- Muddle the simple syrup, mint, lime, thyme and blackberries in the bottom of a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Measure in the rum.
- Shake well, about 20 seconds.
- Add club soda and shake the contents simultaneously into 2 mojito glasses.
- Garnish with lime and blackberries.
