Mom's Stuffing (Large Turkey) Recipe
- 2 loaves bread, break into sm. pcs
- 2 stalks celery, minced
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 4 Large eggs
- 1/2 pound butter
- Cook celery and onion in salted water for 1/2 hour and let cold.
- Add in celery and onions to bread using small amount of water from celery and onion.
- Add in Large eggs and butter.
- Mix well.
- Butter cavity of turkey before stuffing.
- Butter breast of turkey after it is stuffed.
- Bake a medium turkey at 350 degrees for 4 1/2 hrs.
- Uncover and brown the last hour.
- Cold for 1/2 to 1 hour before carving.
