Salted boiled peanuts

  1. In a pot add bay leaf, and peanuts shell and all.
  2. Cover with salty, boiling water bring back to a boil then simmer.
  3. Add water as needed.
  4. Simmer at least 4 hours, adding water as needed.
  5. after 2 hours taste water.
  6. It needs to taste salty.
  7. Adjustments need to be made.
  8. Stir occasionally.
  9. I boiled mine for 9 hours.
  10. When you think they are done taste test one.
  11. They should not be crunchy, nor sould they be like mush.
  12. Serve hope you enjoy!
  13. These can be done in big batches and then freeze.
  14. To reheat use a microwave or crockpot!
