Chicken & bean stroganoff
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 14 cup cornstarch
- 1 lb chicken, cut into thin strips
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 34 cup water
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
- 1 cup mushroom (fresh)
- 14 ounces pork and beans in tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoons parsley
- 12 cup light sour cream
- Fry onion in margarine& first amount of oil.
- Remove to a small bowl.
- Coat chicken in corn starch, place frying pan with second amount of oil.
- Fry till lightly browned then add water bouillon powder bouillon powder, mushrooms& onions.
- Heat till boiling.
- Reduce heat.
- Cover& simmer for about 10 min.
- until chicken is tender.
- Add beans, parsley& sour cream.
