Smoked Ham and Caramelised Pizza
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 800g onions, sliced King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 round pizza bases
- 200g shaved smoked ham
- 200g tub bocconcini, drained and roughly torn
- 1/4 cup KRAFT Creamy Egg Mayonnaise
- Heat the oil and cook the onions and garlic for 10-12 minutes until soft, do not allow to brown.
- Add the sugar, balsamic and water and simmer a further 20 minutes or until soft and golden.
- Spread pizza bases evenly with half of the caramelised onion.
- Top with ham, bocconcini and extra onion.
- Bake at 200C for 15 minutes or until cheese has melted and browned.
- Drizzle mayonnaise over the hot pizza.
- Serve.
