AMIEs MERINGUE
- 3 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 6 tbsp sugar
- Combine and beat first 3 ingredients together until slight mounds form.
- Add sugar gradually beating well after each addition.
- Continue beating until meringue stands in stiff glossy peaks.
- Spread or force meringue through a cake decorator or cookie tube.
- Bake at 170AC for 12-15 minutes until brown.
