Irresistible Chocolate Pie

  1. Separate eggs, beat yolks well.
  2. Add sugar, cocoa and cornstarch.
  3. Whisk in evaporated milk and water.
  4. Cook until thick, over medium high heat on the stove stirring constantly or cook for about 4-5 minutes in the microwave, whisking every minute or so.
  5. It may take longer if you have a small microwave.
  6. Add vanilla and butter.
  7. Pour into baked pie shell and cool.
  8. Top with whipped cream or meringue.
