Creamsickle Cheese Cake
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. orange extract
- 2 drops yellow food coloring
- 1 drop red food coloring
- 1 (9 oz.) graham cracker pie crust
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs; beat well. Add the sour cream and vanilla; mix well. Place 1 cup of mixture in a small bowl and stir in the orange extract and yellow and red food coloring. Pour the remaining cream cheese mixture into pie crust. Drop the orange cream cheese mixture into it by spoonfuls and swirl with a knife to create a marble effect.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until firm around the edge. (The center will be slightly loose.) Allow to cool for 1 hour. Cover and chill for at least 8 hours before serving.
