Health Bread(Three 1 Pound Loaves)

  1. Combine oatmeal, salt, shortening, raisins and boiling water in a large bowl.
  2. Cool to lukewarm.
  3. Add yeast, softened in lukewarm water, molasses, bran and whole wheat flour; beat vigorously.
  4. Add white flour to form a soft dough.
  5. Knead lightly on floured surface.
  6. Place in a greased bowl; cover and let rise in a warm place (82u0b0) until double in bulk.
  7. Mold three loaves; place in greased pans.
  8. Let rise very lite.
  9. Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
