Oven Beef Stew

  1. Heat oven to 325u0b0.
  2. Brown meat in oil.
  3. Add cornstarch and spices.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Stir in tomatoes and water.
  6. Bring mixture to boil, stirring frequently.
  7. Place meat mixture and add remaining ingredients in foil pan.
  8. Cover and bake for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
  9. Stir twice during baking.
