Brazilian Rice And Beans

  1. Soak beans in water overnight or by quick method.
  2. Cook about 2 hours or until tender.
  3. In saucepan, cook together the vegetables.
  4. Saute remaining ingredients (except rice) together in a skillet.
  5. Simmer 30 minutes.
  6. Join beans, vegetables and meat mixture and heat together two minutes.
  7. Serve with rice.
  8. Serves 8 to 10.
