Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad
- 16 ounces pasta shells
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons ranch dressing mix, powdered
- 4 hard-boiled eggs, small diced
- 2 celery ribs, small diced
- 6 green onions, small diced
- 2 12 ounces bacon, pieces
- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil.
- Add pasta and cook until done, usually 8-10 minutes.
- Just until pasta is al dente, not mushy.
- Drain pasta and set aside.
- Stir together mayonnaise and ranch mix until combined and add to pasta.
- Add eggs, celery, green onions and bacon pieces to pasta and mayonnaise mixture then stir to combine.
- We serve while still warm or room temperature but you can chill and then serve if you prefer.
- Note: We buy a large container of powdered ranch dressing mix instead of the individual packages.
- 3 tablespoons powder dressing mix = 1 oz individually packaged powdered dressing mix.
