Beef 'N Cheese Crescent Pie Recipe
- 1 1/4 lbs. grnd beef
- 1/3 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. minced green pepper
- 8 ounce. can cut green beans (opt.), liquid removed
- 8 ounce. can tomato sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin seed
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (8 ounce.) can Pillsbury crescent rolls
- 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Brown grnd beef, onion and green pepper; drain fat.
- Stir in tomato sauce, beans, cumin seed, garlic salt and salt.
- Simmer while preparing crust.
- Separate crescent dough into triangles and then press into 9" pie pan and up sides to create crust.
- Spread 1 c. cheese into crust.
- Spoon warm meat mix into crust.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
- Shake on paprika, if you like.
- Bake for 20 to 25 min.
- For easier serving, let stand 5 min before cutting into wedges.
