Grilled Mango Marinated Ahi Tuna
- 1 teaspoon Mustard
- 2 Tablespoons Mango Butter
- 1 cup Mango, Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon Parsley
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 pinches Cayenne Pepper
- 2 pinches Salt
- 1/2 cups Olive Oil
- 3 Ahi Tuna Steaks
- For the marinade: Put mustard and mango butter into a medium sized bowl then mix until you have a smooth consistency.
- Add cut mangos, balsamic and seasonings, then drizzle in the oil.
- Put the tuna in a Ziploc bag.
- Add half of the marinade into the bag with the fish and mix to combine.
- Seal the bag and place in fridge for a few hours or overnight.
- Reserve the remaining marinade in the refrigerator to drizzle on top of grilled fish.
- For the grilling: Heat a cast iron grill over medium-high heat.
- Place fish on the grill cooking 2 minutes on each side for rare or 3 minutes per side for medium rare.
- Drizzle some of remaining mango marinade over tuna once plated, before serving.
