Rotini
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms w/liquid
- 1/2 tsp. each basil, oregano and garlic powder
- 2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 12 oz. bag rotini noodles
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Brown hamburger, then combine all ingredients except cheese and noodles.
- Prepare rotini noodles in pot of boiling water until tender.
- Drain.
- Mix sauce with cooked noodles.
- Pour 1/2 of mixture into a casserole dish.
- Layer with 1/2 of Mozzarella cheese, then mixture and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
