Stuffed Green Bell Peppers

  1. Preheat oven to 450.
  2. Cut tops off the peppers, remove seeds.
  3. Roast the bell peppers in the oven for 10 minutes or so.
  4. Sprinkle insides of peppers with salt and set aside.
  5. Saute ground beef and onions, drain.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Stir in tomatoes, rice, 1/2 cup water and Worcestershire sauce.
  8. Cover, simmer 15 minutes.
  9. Remove from heat and stir in cheese.
  10. Reduce oven to 350.
  11. Stuff each pepper with beef/rice mixture.
  12. Place peppers open side up in a baking dish.
  13. Combine soup with water until gravy consistency.
  14. Pour over the peppers.
  15. Bake, covered, for 30 minutes, until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
