Alan's Mostaccioli Recipe
- 1/2 lb Mostaccioli noodles
- 5 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 can evaporated lowfat milk, (14-1/2 ounce. cans)
- 3/4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 11/2 tsp salt, if you like
- 1/8 tsp grnd white pepper
- Heat butter or possibly margarine; blend in flour.
- Add in evaporated lowfat milk and cook over low heat till slightly thick.
- Stir in cheeses, salt and pepper; heat till cheese melts.
- Combine sauce and liquid removed Mostaccioli noodles, after cooking according to the directions.
- Pour into greased 3-qt casserole.
- Bake for 30 min in a 350 degree oven.
