Orange Beer Barbeque Sauce

  1. in a medium saucepan cook the onion and garlic in the oil until soft.
  2. deglaze with the beer, add all the remaining ingredients.
  3. bring to a boil for 10 minutes.
  4. puree using an immersion blender or transfer to a regular blender in batches.
  5. return to a boil for around 10 minutes, until thickened and slightly reduced.
