Chicken Nibblets Recipe
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 med. onion, roughly minced
- 1 teaspoon grated green ginger
- 2 tbsp. minced fresh chives
- 3 lbs. chicken wings
- Minced parsley (garnish)
- Salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 4 tbsp. dry sherry
- 1 tbsp. oil
- In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except chicken.
- Wash and dry chicken wings.
- Cut off the wing tips at the joint.
- Remove the thinner bone from the wing.
- Scrape down the chicken flesh on the remaining bone to the end to make a drumstick shape.
- Add in chicken to marinade.
- Cover and chill for 2 hrs, stirring occasionally.
- Place chicken in a baking pan.
- Strain marinade over chicken and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 min or possibly till tender, basting occasionally with marinade.
- Remove chicken from pan and brush with pan juices.
- Serve on a platter; sprinkle with parsley.
- Great as an appetizer!!
