Slightly Spiced Artichoke Squares
- 14 ounces artichoke hearts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 13 cup green onion
- 14 teaspoon oregano
- 14 teaspoon cayenne
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 12 cups flour
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 13 cup oil
- 13 cup fat-free half-and-half
- Heat oven to 350F Spray/grease 13x9 pan.
- To make filling combine cut drained artichoke hearts, green onions, spices, cheese, and eggs.
- Set aside.
- (I usually use an egg substitute)
- For crust combine flour, salt, oil, and half 'n half.
- Mix with fork until crumbly.
- Spread on pan and press down.
- Add filling to crust and bake for 30 minutes, until set.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
