Baked Green Bean Casserole
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 500 g canned green beans
- 200 g sour cream
- 2 cups grated gouda cheese
- 1 12 cups roasted onions
- In a large pan melt butter.
- Once melted add flour sugar and salt and mix well.
- Next add sour cream.
- Once heated add the green beans, remove from heat and mix well.
- Transfer to a medium sized casserole dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle on Gouda cheese and finish with the roasted onions.
- Bake in oven at 180deg C until cheese is starting to crisp.
- Don't let the onions burn!
