Chili Rellenos Bake Recipe
- 1 pound lean grnd beef
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 2 (4 ounce.) cans whole green chilies
- 2 c. grated cheddar cheese
- 4 Large eggs
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco
- Cook beef, drain.
- Add in onion and garlic.
- Cut each chili in half.
- Beat Large eggs and flour together; add in lowfat milk, salt and Tabasco.
- Grease 8 inch pan.
- Layer meat, chilis, half of cheese.
- Pour egg mix over top.
- Finish with rest of cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
- Let stand 5 min.
