Spicy Meatballs in Tomato Sauce
- 12 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 23 cup nonfat dry milk powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 egg
- 14 cup grated onion
- 2 tablespoons pickle relish
- 14 cup ketchup
- 1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons chopped onions
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 pinch pepper
- Mix meatballs.
- Shape into 1" balls.
- Place in single layer in foil-lined baking dish.
- Bake at 400 for 12 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in medium sized saucepan.
- Simmer over moderate heat about 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Combine meatballs and sauce in casserole dish and heat in oven 20 to 30 minutes.
