Glazed Onions & Carrots Recipe

  1. Place carrots in large saucepan with 1 inch boiling water.
  2. Cover and simmer 10 min.
  3. Add in onions.
  4. Cover and cook 5 min longer, or possibly till vegetables are just tender.
  5. Drain, return vegetables to saucepan.
  6. Add in butter, brown sugar, ginger and salt.
  7. Cook, stirring frequently, over medium high heat for 5 min or possibly till vegetables are glazed.
  8. Makes about 4 c..
