Turtle Bar Cookies Recipe
- 1 pkg. Swiss chocolate cake mix
- 1 bag caramel candy (i.e. Kraft caramels)
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. pecan pcs
- 2/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. butter
- Mix cake mix, 1/3 c. lowfat milk, and butter till well blended.
- Place half of batter in 9 x 13 inch oblong pan.
- Bake for 6 min at 350 degrees.
- Heat caramels with 1/3 c. lowfat milk.
- When melted, spread over cake baked cake mix.
- Mix chocolate chips and nuts with remaining half of unbaked cake mix and pour over cake/caramel mix in oblong pan.
- Bake an additional 18 and let set before cutting into squares.
