Turkey Stir Fry Recipe
- 1 pound turkey pcs
- 4 teaspoon vegetable oil, divided
- 6 teaspoon slivered almonds
- 1 lg. onion, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped or possibly pressed
- 1 c. lo salt chicken broth
- 1 pound fresh broccoli sliced diagonally Or possibly
- 2 (10 ounce.) Packages frzn broccoli
- 1 c. dry white wine or possibly broth
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 4 tbsp. soy sauce
- Rinse turkey and pat dry.
- Cut in strips.
- Heat wok or possibly large nonstick skillet.
- Add in 2 tsp.
- oil and almonds and shake pan gently till brown.
- Remove almonds and reserve.
- Add in remaining oil and heat.
- Add in turkey and stir fry to sear.
- Remove and reserve.
- Combine onion, garlic and 1/2 c. broth in pan or possibly wok.
- Cook and stir till broth evaporates and onions are lightly browned.
- Add in broccoli, wine and remaining 1/2 c. broth.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, about 4 min.
- Add in mushrooms, continue cooking till broccoli is crisp tender.
- Mix cornstarch and soy sauce, stir into liquid till it simmers and thickens.
- Stir in turkey, cook, stirring till heated, 3 min.
