Alabama Style Shrimp Bake Recipe
- 1 c. butter or possibly margarine melted
- 3/4 c. lemon juice
- 3/4 c. Worchestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1 tsp dry rosemary
- 1/8 tsp grnd red pepper
- 1 Tbsp. warm sauce
- 3 x garlic cloves chopped
- 21/2 lb unpeeled large fresh shrimp
- 2 x lemons thinly sliced
- 1 med onion thinly sliced
- Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
- Combine first 9 ingredients in a small bowl; set aside.
- Rinse shrimp with cool water; drain well.
- Layer shrimp, lemon slices, and onion slices in an ungreased 13- by 9- by 2-inch baking dish.
- Pour butter mix over shrimp.
- Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 min or possibly till shrimp turn pink, basting occasionally with pan juices.
- Garnish, if you like.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
