Florence Fabricant's Maple Syrup Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Beat eggs until well-blended.
  3. Beat in maple syrup and butter.
  4. Pour the mixture into the baked pie shell, place in the oven and bake 25 minutes, just until the filling is set.
  5. Serve while still warm with whipped cream.
