Best ever chocolate chip cookies
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 5 oz chocolate chunks
- In a medium-sized bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Set aside.
- In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, belt the butter, stirring constantly until it reaches a golden brown color; remove from heat immediately.
- Transfer melted butter to a large mixing bowl.
- Add sugars and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy: about 3 minutes.
- Add egg and stir.
- Add the dry ingredients, small amounts at a time, until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chunks.
- Use a 2 tablespoon measuring spoon to scoop out the dough and place them on a prepared baking sheet.
- Bake at 350AF (f) for 12-14 minutes, or until golden.
- Allow cookies to cook before eating.
- Serve with milk!
