Middle Eastern Fruit Salad with Philly Dollop

  1. Place all fruit salad ingredients except nuts in a medium saucepan and just cover with cold water.
  2. Slowly bring to a simmer.
  3. Cook for 15 minutes over low heat.
  4. Remove from heat, allow to cool and stir in almonds.
  5. Remove star anise and cinnamon stick.
  6. Serve topped with delicious Philly Dollop, with a sprinkle of ground nutmeg or cinnamon.
  7. DELICIOUS PHILLY DOLLOP:
  8. Beat Philly*, icing sugar, orange juice and vanilla essence with a wooden spoon until smooth.
  9. Dollop over your favourite fresh or stewed fruits!
