Warm Brownie Pudding Cake
- 1 cup flour, all-purpose
- 3/4 cup sugar granulated
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 13 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup cola unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine,
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 1 3/4 cups water boiling
- Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
- Grease 9-inch square baking dish.
- Combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cocoa in a bowl.
- Combine milk, butter and vanilla in measuring cup; stir into dry ingredients just until blended.
- Spoon batter evenly into prepared dish.
- Combine brown sugar and remaining 1/4 cup cocoa in small bowl.
- Sprinkle evenly over batter.
- Pour over boiling water over entire mixture; do not stir.
- Bake 35 to 38 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes Cool 10 minutes.
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired.
