Sausage Gravy

  1. To make the gravy, cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned, about 8 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle the flour over the meat and stir with a spoon until blended.
  3. Stir in the milk.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until thickened.
  5. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
