Smoky Salmon Spread Recipe

  1. Drain salmon, reserving 2 tsp.
  2. salmon liquid; flake.
  3. Combine cream cheese, liquid smoke flavoring and salmon liquid; blend thoroughly.
  4. Stir in green onion, then mix in salmon.
  5. Chill at least 2 hrs or possibly overnight to blend flavors.
  6. Serve as a spread with crackers or possibly bagels.
  7. Makes about 1 1/2 c. spread.
  8. Note: recipe may be doubled using 2 cans (7 3/4 ounce.
  9. each) salmon or possibly 1 can (15 1/2 ounce.)
  10. salmon.
  11. If you like, refrigerate2 to 3 hrs or possibly till hard.
  12. Shape into a ball and roll in 1/2 c. minced parsley.
