Boston Cream Cheese Pie Recipe
- 1 (9 ounce.) pkg. yellow cake mix
- 2 (8 ounce.) Packages Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/3 c. lowfat sour cream
- 2 (1 ounce.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp. warm water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Grease bottom of 9-inch pan.
- Prepare cake mix as directed on package; pour batter proportionately into pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
- Combine cream cheese, granulated sugar and vanilla, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer, blend well.
- Add in Large eggs, 1 at a time, mix well after each addition.
- Blend in lowfat sour cream, pour over cake layer.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35 min.
- Loosen cake from rim of pan.
- Cold before removing rim of pan.
- Heat chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring till smooth.
- Remove from heat.
- Add in remaining ingredients, mix well.
- Spread over cheese pie.
- Refrigerate2 hrs.
- Ready to serve.
