Green Beans And Potato Casserole For 6

  1. Combine green beans, potatoes and celery in 1-quart casserole. Fry bacon, drain and crumble.
  2. Saute onion in bacon drippings. Stir in flour.
  3. Add evaporated milk slowly; stir constantly.
  4. Cook until thickened and smooth; stir constantly.
  5. Add cheese; stir until melted.
  6. Pour over vegetables in casserole; mix well. Sprinkle 1/4 cup cheese, cracker crumbs and crumbled bacon over top.
  7. Bake in moderate oven (350u0b0) about 30 minutes.
