- 12 teaspoon sugar
- 14 cup mustard
- 6 ounces beer (not light)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- catsup, as necessary
- Cook onions and garlic in butter until soft.
- Brown hamburger until not pink, drain.
- Combine hamburger and onion mixture, add the rest of the ingredients, simmer for an hour or so, stirring every 5minutes, or so -- add catsup as necessary.
- After simmering, add your hotdogs and let simmer for another 10 minutes or so.
- Steam your buns in a gallon Ziploc with a couple tablespoons of water, spinkled in by flicking fingers into Ziploc, put in microwave, on Defrost setting, until hot -- put a dog in a bun, top with Coney Sauce, add mustard and diced onions to taste -- Enjoy!
