Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake-Filled Cupcakes

  1. Cupcakes: Stir peanut butter chips into cake batter.
  2. Portion about 1-1/2 oz.
  3. batter into each cupcake liner.
  4. Bake as directed on cake mix package.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Core out the middle of each cupcake.
  7. Fill each with 1 oz.
  8. Cheesecake Batter.
  9. Buttercream: Cream butter, vanilla and salt with electric mixer fitted with paddle attachment until smooth.
  10. Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing until fluffy.
  11. Add peanut butter; mix until completely blended.
  12. Spoon into pastry bag fitted with a star tip.
  13. Decorate tops of each cupcake with about 1 oz.
  14. Buttercream.
