Spicy, Sweet and Savory Seared Ahi Tuna

  1. Combine honey, soy sauce and wasabi.
  2. You can also use wasabi paste in place of the powder, just make sure you stir well.
  3. Use less wasabi for less of a kick.
  4. Reserve half of the mixture for dipping sauce.
  5. Use other half to marinade the tuna steaks for one hour.
  6. After marinading, coat the tuna in sesame seeds.
  7. Sear steaks on a very hot grill cooking only about 40 seconds per side.
  8. Remove and wrap in foil for five minutes.
  9. Slice thin and serve with reserved dipping sauce.
