Sweet Onion Soup

• 5 large sweet yellow onions, sliced
• 12 cup unsalted butter
• 3 (14 1/4 ounce) cans beef broth
• 1 12 cups Chardonnay wine

1. Thin slice and quarter 5 large sweet yellow onions.
2. Melt the butter in a large, hot soup pot.
3. Add onions and cook until tender, about 45 minutes.
4. Add in the beef broth and wine.
5. Simmer 5-10 minutes, or until hot and steaming.
