Luau Spareribs
- 3 lb. ribs
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 small can frozen orange juice
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
- 1/3 c. honey
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- dash of salt
- dash of pepper
- 2 green onions, sliced
- watercress for garnish (optional)
- orange slices for garnish
- Place ribs in a shallow baking dish, meaty side up.
- Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons water.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for about 20 minutes; drain off fat.
- In a saucepan, combine orange juice, water, brown sugar, vinegar, honey, mustard, salt and pepper.
- Heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Pour over ribs and bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes, basting every 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle with green onions and garnish with watercress (optional) and orange slices.
