Seven Layer Salad

  1. Place lettuce in salad bowl.
  2. Add in layers green pepper, celery, and onion.
  3. Top with green peas.
  4. Spread mayonnaise over the peas.
  5. Sprinkle sugar on the mayonnaise (this becomes the dressing).
  6. Top with chedder cheese and bacon.
  7. DO NOT TOSS.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
  9. May be tossed before serving.
