Chicago Diner Burgers

  2. Bring 4 cups water, celery, onion, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper to a boil in pot over high heat.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in oats, mushrooms, and flour, and cook 5 minutes more.
  5. Transfer to bowl, and chill.

  7. Preheat oven to 350F.
  8. Coat baking sheet with cooking spray.
  9. Shape mixture into 8 patties, and bake on prepared baking sheet 15 minutes.
  10. Flip, and bake 10 minutes more.
  11. Cool.

  13. Heat grill to medium-high.
  14. Place foil on grill, and coat with cooking spray.
  15. Grill burgers on foil 7 minutes per side.
