Oil-Free Granola
- 3 cups oatmeal
- 1 cup wheat flakes
- 1 cup rye flakes
- 1 cup bran
- 1/2 cup raisins, seedless
- 1/2 cup apricots dried, chopped
- 1/2 cup dates chopped
- 1 cup apples chopped
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts chopped
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds raw
- 1/2 cup honey raw
- 1/2 cup water hot
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- Combine all dry ingredients, fruits and nuts in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, mix the honey, hot water and vanilla.
- Add to dry ingredients and mix well.
- Spread a 1/2 inch layer on baking dished and bake in a 250 degrees F. oven for one hour, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from oven, let cool.
- Store in covered containers.
