Cream Of Broccoli Soup

  1. Saute onion in margarine over high heat until soft.
  2. Add flour and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Gradually add chicken broth.
  4. Add broccoli, tarragon, garlic powder, thyme and black pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
  7. Add milk and simmer uncovered 5 minutes.
  8. Add 1/4 at a time to blender and blend at medium speed until smooth.
  9. Return to saucepan and simmer until heated through.
