Midwestern Barbecued Flank Steak

  1. Preheat greased grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Rub both sides of steak with garlic.
  3. Grill steak and onions 15 to 20 minutes or until steak is cooked through and onions are tender, turning occasionally and brushing steak occasionally with barbecue sauce.
  4. Cut steak across the grain into thin slices.
  5. Serve with grilled onions.
