  1. Preheat oven to 175 C (or 350F or Gas Mark 4) .
  2. Line two baking pan with parchment
  3. Combine oats, flour, almond, spices, baking powder and salt.
  4. Set aside
  5. Beat sugar and butter till smooth.
  6. Add eggs and rum.
  7. Beat until well blended.
  8. Stir in dry ingredients
  9. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture4 cm apartonto the baking sheets
  10. Bake for 12-15 mnts.
  11. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
  12. Store in airtight container.
