Holiday Party Mix

• 8 cups whole wheat cereal squares
• 2 cups shredded coconut
• 1 cup unsalted peanuts Rite Aid Buy 1 Get 1 Free thru 02/06
• 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup each: butter and corn syrup
• 1 cup multi-coloured cake sprinkles
• 1 pkg (300 g) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

1. HEAT oven to 250F (120C).
2. COMBINE cereal, coconut and peanuts; place on two ungreased baking sheets.
3. BRING sugar, butter and corn syrup to a boil over medium heat, stir constantly.
4. Boil for 5 minutes longer wihtout stirring.
5. Pour over ceral; stir until coated.
6. BAKE 30 minutes, remove from oven; sprinkle with cake sprinkles.
7. Bake 10 minutes longer.
8. Remove and cool.
9. Stir in chocolate chips.
